Did I do anything exciting today?

Today was a slow day for the shop. I really did not do a whole lot of anything. I think it is because I’m so tired. Not sure if it is just a physical thing or a mental one as well.

I did get one order placed and I need to work up one for Gloriana silks as well.

I think I might even do one for Hoffman books as we need to get a few more exciting things in the shop.

I completed the center part of my design complete with the crystals, still waiting for the beads, but that’s ok. Now I really do need to decide what to do with the next 3 parts. Basically they all go together so it would help if they were all similar to each other in color. This is a really strange way to go about designing something, not the way I usually do it at all.

I got a small bit of stitching done this afternoon, not anything fantastic. I’m still working on Mystery 9. It is going to look fantastic. When I get a bit more completed I’ll post a photo here. I have to charge the camera then I can also post a photo of Alpine Seasons.

Guess I’ll go eat then feed the dogs. I have to get up at 2AM tomorrow to go to Einstein’s. I have to work 13 days straight so I’m going to be tired by this time next week.

Speaking of Einstein’s, we heard that they are doing away with the café style restaurants. That’s the way the one I work at is, its café style. Basically they decided that the atmosphere was not as cozy as it used to be so they are revamping all the café stores and making them like they used to be over a year ago. So I will have a day off while they tear down a wall and move cash registers. COOL! I think our uniforms will change again as well. I just want to make sure I get several shirts so I do not have to do laundry every day.

Now I’m really going.
